Uhhhh...don't you mean "Labrador"?

There are either black labs, or golden labs, mostly....maybe some reddish ones. They're a hunting dog; very friendly, good temperament; good with children. About 2' high at the shoulder.

Is it a labrador dog I think you mean. A labrador is a large standard dog. it was used as a hunting dog (not much smaller than a german shepherd dog. In England they are used for guiding blind people too. They have a good temprement and vary in colour some are black andf some are sandy coloured.
