They were NOT related. In fact, Audrey's publicist people tried to convince her to change her name so there wouldn't be any confusion. However, she stuck to her guns and kept her name regardless of the similarity to Katherine.

They both went on to be two of the most highly regarded actresses of all times!

No, Audrey is from Belgium and Hepburn is a stage name;a variation of her real surname. Katherine was American and old established family in New England. Hepburn is her real name.
