Chavez is a snake, but Venezuelans are not snake like. They are Catholics, Christians, & Freedom bound!
Eventually Chevez will fade away, and as for Venezuela,
let's pray they will not suffer much more under his leadership.

What if they are buddies? Wasn't Donald Rumsfeld 'buddies" with Saddam, when it was expedient of course? Both Chavez and Ahmadinejad NEED each other. They certainly do not believe they need the US, and they don't.
Depending on where we look, Islam is on the rise in Venezuela even given that the Catholic religion is quite active. But then, so are other religions, as well as Judaism

I doubt it. Chavez is "buddy-buddy" with Muslims in Iran because they all seem to have a common enemy: us. With good reason. We interfere in everyone's affairs.
Besides the fact that Chavez is a socialist. People in Venezuela are on the path to greater freedoms, greater opportunities, and greater civic care than the likes of Americans. Television propaganda will tell you otherwise, but consider who you're receiving your information from. There will never be a state-mandated religion in Venezuela. So I doubt it.

I seriously doubt it. It will be quite a stretch to go from a Catholic culture to an Islamic one.
