I love Benny Hill. But it took me many years to like him, I am 44 now.
I thought he was too silly and too perverted.
Now I like him, I realized he is just all about laughs, and he put a big smile on my face.
He must have really loved his work, because he sure looked like he was having fun.
My new outlook on comedy is, if it makes you laugh, it is doing its job.
Humor doesn't just have to be super clever, just make you laugh!

I love Benny Hill and God rest his soul. He was the very first British comedian who show some busted British women. Another British comedian that I love is Dave Allen. Even though Mr. Allen wasn't as crazy as Benny HIll he has some very good sketches. Most of Benny's sketches were edited out when they should some breasts which pisses me off when I was young.

Finally, as a fan of Benny Hill everybody knows the music at the end of each of his shows when Benny gets chased by the mob who made them upset.

Benny Hill was a product of his time, today his sketches are seen as sexist, sleazy and somewhat perverted, but in the 70s it was loved by millions of men and women. His sexual preferences at the time were publicly unknown and in hindsight it makes the sketches implying interest in sexy women even less offensive.

If you investigate more you'll find that the Benny Hill show was one of the most sought after shows on British TV. Both the BBC & ITV tried to get the show on their network and have him as a part of their "stable" of early evening family entertainment shows.

Unfortunately he is remembered for his sketches of women running around in their underware, as I recall most of his shows contained non sleazy sketches and the finale was nearly always the underwear chase sketches.

He is the most successful ever comedian in having his shows exported to other countries, due mostly to his appeal to the masses and his mostly physical style of humour.
He stopped making shows when he was dropped by all the networks due to it being politically incorrect to show his type of humour on TV, but for years his shows have continued to be seen on TV across the world.

I don't find any Benny Hill offensive, but then I remember "Love Thy Neighbour" and Bernard Manning shows, which were on the edge then and in today's world would never have been made.

Ridiculous things that have fallen to the PC wakners is Enid Blyton's "The Three Golliwogs", blackboards, the right to have and state opinions that offend others, xmas and comediens like Benny Hill.

If you think it's right that they should be banned and agree with the tossers who ban them, I hope your kids will learn to enjoy the world they will inherit, and get used to apologising for every thing their ancestors ever did.

The objective of the game is to develop the ability to hit the little ball back well with your bat. At first it may seem a little difficult to handle because it varies a lot with your mouse’s sensitivity, but don’t worry, with just a little practice you can become an expert in this type of game.
It's a really nice game.

Used to watch when i was a kid but saw a rerun as an adult and realised how sleazy and sexist the show was pure british soft pervy porn but i guess thats why it worked at the time the idea was that he was a sleaze bag and so was in effect laughing at himself. It was funny though. Kind of had a carry on theme to it as well i think.

I think he was very much of his time. In hindsight his work is seen by many as sexist, but in those days a man fancying a pretty girl was seen as normal. I don't think the women portrayed (as silly, dumb) were seen in a much different way to the many "blonde" jokes about today. Humour is still humour, but today the multiplicity of "...isms" seem to be on the verge of destroying humour. I think the over-protective stance taken by the PC brigade is unnecessary and excessive, however well intentioned.

I loved Benny Hill when I was a kid, and I still love him now! he's great comedy relief, one of the few comedy shows I enjoy watching. I don't much care for other slapstick, but his shows are great. I don't like monty python stuff,or movies with leslie nielson, and stuff like police academy, things like that. But, have always liked benny hill!

Beny Hill was hilarious! Classic British humor! And by the way, it *IS* normal for a man to fancy a pretty young woman...

I still laugh watching his underwear chase scenes with the kooky music! :)
