I saw this a few years ago. it was very disturbing and I don't know what it is called. I think they kill the dog and maybe even the whole family. I can't even remember what country it's from. That's not alot to go on but maybe it sounds familiar to someone?

It could be Cashe. It's a very strange French film. A solid hour and a half of WTF???!!! But good anyway.
