I would say that shopping at Walmart , Target, K-Mart, Penneys or Sears instead of spending for "shipping and handling costs" on the internet would be your best bet, plus you could return it easily (without having to send your check for restocking fees and shipping charges). Have someone go with you who is color-coordinated and knows style. You can always make your own clothes (Simplicity pattern and $99 sewing machine plus material, thread and a zipper if you want) and they will fit as you like. It might cost you more to make your own clothes though these days since the above noted stores are able to buy in bulk and pay a lot less for labor so you get some very good deals.
When you buy online or in the catalogs you take the chance that the size or fit might not be accurate. And, the stores I mentioned do sell the same clothes as in the catalogs (they may have changed out the labels though).

I would try Delias. They also have a catalog you can get. I used to get it, and Ioved the clothes.
