both are threats not only psychically but financially

The terrorists are a created monster of failed diplomacy, and represent a small threat. However illegals and the mis-use of the NAFTA is a more serious threat to the economic stability. They have displaced American workers and have milked the welfare system through medical care, paid no taxes, and migrate to avoid being caught and deported....this is an every day event...not as dramatic as 9-11, but far worse as they deprive Americans.

Let's assume one terrorist per 1000... you get the picture.

You don't need a plane to do a LOT of damage. Big truck or oil cistern will suffice. And illegals DO drive trucks quite often.

FBI's Mueller: Hezbollah Busted in Mexican Smuggling Operation

FBI Director Robert Mueller said this week that his agency busted a smuggling ring organized by the terrorist group Hezbollah that had operatives cross the Mexican border to carry out possible terrorist attacks inside the U.S.

"This was an occasion in which Hezbollah operatives were assisting others with some association with Hezbollah in coming to the United States,” Mueller told a House Appropriations subcommittee during a Tuesday hearing on the FBI's budget.

Chechen terrorists probed

THE WASHINGTON TIMES

U.S. security officials are investigating a recent intelligence report that a group of 25 Chechen terrorists illegally entered the United States from Mexico in July.

While there is no evidence that the 9/11 terrorists entered over the Mexican border, the trial in El Paso of an Iraqi smuggler produced evidence that he alone brought more than 1,000 Middle East illegals into the United States via that route, charging his clients $10,000 to $15,000 each. Border Patrol agents have confirmed the increase in illegal aliens coming from the Middle East across our southern border and the fact that Arabs pay up to $50,000 each for a "coyote" to smuggle them into the United States.

I would say its just about even...

The terrorist deals in both fear tactics and direct damage to get their way

the illegal immigrant also does his/her share of damage by becoming a drain on the resources and not putitng anything back in for what they take, they come in, get paid send the money back to their loved ones in their home country (so no help to the tax revinue) then items like medical care which they cannot pay for and the cost to bi-lingual everything in the US and force translators to be staffed at every location

Considering the terrorist of 9/11 were illegal immigrants, I consider them to be one and the same.

A toss up? Illegal immigrants aren't dedicated to killing all non-towel heads as in terrorists. They don't want to have 72 virgins after they blow themselves and innocent people up. Where do you live-in the Yukon?

Illegal Immigrants can dominate this country if the U.S. lets them to settle here. terrorists can give a blow to the U.S. but they can never take over our government.

So, I would say that illegal immigrants are more of a threat

A terrorist with a passport, yet on condition that he's committing a terrorist act against the U.S., no longer if that's a terrorist with a U.S. passport working for the CIA and committing terrorist acts against different international locations, which includes Iran. Did I win something?
