my best male friend is gay and open about it. last weekend a straight ex partner of mine said he seen him in a park at 3am and approached him. my friend is denying it saying he seen a guy but didnt know who it was. my ex said he was meeting a girl but what girl would go to a dark secluded area at that time in the morning? does it sound like my ex is covering his back because he was looking for male company and my best friend saw him??

It's possible.

In the end, it doesn't matter since you aren't with this guy anymore.

It's a good reminder-however-why it is important to use condoms.

Being a gay man, I am not surprised by this tale you just told. Those type of secret, nameless late night meeting took place even more back in the 80's when I first came out. I sorta feel sorry for the straight guys now that rest areas and parks are watched more by police.

Your ex- may not be gay, many hetero many sometimes get the curiousity to find out what ti's like to be with a guy, so your ex- may not be gay he could just be bisexual. But it does somehow seems maybe he might be on the dl or down low( where hetero men have sex w/ other men and keep it a secret from their girlfriends or wife).

He is an ex. Why would you care? Just let it go. If you think that you can be friends with him then maybe you care because he doesn't sound sincere and more likely your best friend is the one telling the truth. If you really care so much just ask maybe he is bisexual or bi-curious. Regardless of that don't obsess with it.

Cook a very romantic dinner for three. Leave before the end with nice romantic lights and music. Live cam on and enjoy it. Then thank the honest and punish the liar.

Why worry about what your ex is getting up to. Surely it should make no diffs to you if he is gay or straight. I presume they are both adults and can take care of themselves. Dont get involved it will just cost you your friendships:)

That's all a bit confusing but i think I know what you mean.
As your ex is your ex, why would you care?
And your 'best friend', you should care.
