I purchased the game, downloaded it and when I try to activate it, it tells me I need an internet connection, which I do have.

1.If you haven't downloaded the game already, go to the Yahoo! Games website, find the game you bought, and click on "Download Game" to download your game.
2.Open the game and click on the "Activate your license" link.
3.Sign in to your Yahoo! account using your Yahoo! ID and password.
4.Yahoo! will then check your account for your game license, and then activate the game on your computer.

Have you talked to yahoo? You should see if they have any troubleshooting tips, or if you can emial them, and tell them your problem.
