I can't drive, no body's asking me to babysit, and I'm low on cash.
I have about $70 to:
Buy 3 birthday gifts and three christmas presents and buy some much needed sweaters for myself.
My mom wont let me get the sweaters I want....unless I buy them.
Also.......
My brother wants two polos and one tshirt ALL from Hollister for his birthday and a season of that 70's show on cd for christmas.
PRICEY!!!!! I can't afford that alone.
I NEED MONEY!!!!!!
I'm making jewlery and selling them on ebay for extra cash...any other ideas???

Well, you sound creative....go from strip mall to strip mall and be so enthusiastic and cute as you were here, and tell them you'd LOVE to decorate their windows for the Holidays. Go to a craft store and ask what your $70 bucks will get you, and get some ideas from them, my bet is you'll earn five times cost. Enthusiasm+creativity+confidence +Ali=Lotsamoney

There are so many ways that young people can make money. Might I suggest a trip to the library to get books on teens and money? I found several titles that offer outstanding advice. Christmas is just around the corner now so don't put it off... get a plan in motion and realize that you can do it. One specific title that I found is "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie & Noel Drew; however, there are several. Talk to your librarian for other titles and do it TODAY. Another resource for assistance is Junior Achievement which has chapters all over the US. They may have some awesome... completely legal... ways for you to earn cash without babysitting. It's up to you to take the next step.
Don't go nuts buying gifts that you cannot afford. People love you for YOU, not for what you buy them. If you start off with realistic financial goals today, those goals will stay with you for the rest of your life. It's what's in your heart, not your wallet, that people are really attracted by.

i know you want to do good by your brother but if its going to be a poor christmas you can only do so much. Make your goals a little more reasonable. like one less shirt for brother -- one less sweater for you -- and nothing for a mother that thinks you should run around cold all winter long

go to a thrift store or a yard sale. There prices are usually low. You could get a holliter shirt for $1.00 or under! I get cloths forom there all the time. Hope this helps :)

Try going from door to door to rake leaves or other yardwork. Also if you list your e-bay listing numbers on here maybe you could get people to buy your jewelry. Also try selling candy bars. Good Luck!
