I think it is about a quarter inch per month for fingernails and about an inch per year for toenails..
I have never seen anything that helps make them grow. They grow from the nail bed, the part underneath the hard nail itself. I can't imagine that putting super nail polish on the hard part would make some miraculous chemical go into the growing part underneath and turbocharge it into growing faster. It there was a chemical like that all of the companies that sell fungus cures for nails would put their fungicide in there and claim instant cures.

They grow about a 1/2 inch per month. They have a supplement called 'Hair, Skin and Nails'. It REALLY works! It contains Biotin. And A, and calcium. It really does work! It makes them VERY strong. It's not real expensive. Try it! Honest.

mine grow pretty fast, typically they stay stronger with the hard as nails stuff not the nail polish just the clear coat. also washing dishes alot helps mine grow. Imma have to try the almond thing

i don't know how fast they grow, but i know that if you eat soaked almonds everyday for a week they'll give you beautiful nails, and it will grow.

about 1/4 inch per week when i keep them protected. take a multivitamin daily. also i take l-lysine. it's great for skin, nails, and hair. and keep them coated with a nail strengthener. i really like sally hansen maximum growth.

well a fun fact for you all: guys nails grow faster than girls! i know i read it in a magazine and i couldn't believe it either!
