I mean what if whites, (or European Americans), decided to have a white only baseball league, or white only bathrooms, or white countryclubs? It would be an outrage.

It would be an outrage, but i don't think you would find that anywhere now. Back than African Americans where forced to have their own league. For some dumb *** reason people thought that blacks did not deserve to play with white people. So let me ask you this. Why would you think that it was racist that they formed their own league? All they wanted to do was play baseball. If anything. African Americans where trying to END racism. How would you feel if someone told you that because of your skin color, you could not sit at certain places, drink from a different water fountain, not go to the same schools, ect...African Americans where treated almost as if they where not even human.

You should try reading a history book. At the time of the ***** leagues there was whites only baseball, football,bathrooms, country clubs, water fountains, restaurants, all of the above and yes it was an outrage and that is why we had the Civil Rights Movement.

NO NO NO Thats not how it was. They had the ***** league because the white guys would not let them play on their teams. Back then it was the way it was. All baseball leagues countryclubs and in many places bathrooms were segregated.

You ignorant twit...There was an all white league it was Major League baseball. The ***** league was formed because they weren't "ALLOWED" to play baseball with the white players.

whites wouldnt allow black people on their league.....besides white people suck at basquet ball.. say what u will.... but theres a lot of racism still in politics when was the last time u saw a black president they so racist they steal elections just to make sure they' r racist @sses dont loose power... we have to look at the whole picture not just the part where we come out as the victim, whats the point of having eyes if ur gonna end up seeing trough your @ss

Your are an American Phenomena. Young, white , ignorant, and historically lacking facts. Ask your mother if she was outraged or is she now comfortable with integration. The mind is a terrible thing to waste but, in your case you would have to have one first.

First, learn how to use the spell check!. Secondly, the blacks were not "allowed" to have their own baseball league, they were not allowed in the white one. Of course, now they can have their own Ms. Black USA contest, Black Music Awards, and on and on. That does seem racist.
