stuff called spinal shock, where you entire nervous system shuts down. it trys to protect you form increasing the amount of trauma to your body. it's more apparent when you have had a previous injury. hang out today, take some anti inflams. try lieing on your back, with your knees bent rather than slouching around on the sofa. if its still weird tomorrow, rather than sore (you'll feel like the horse kicked you!) then head to a & e. it'll be quieter on a sunday!!

With a previous history of back injury, you would benefit from further evaluation. It is possible that the old injury site has been further traumatized. If you can wait until after the weekend, see your own health care provider or if you know of a walk-in clinic, go there today. If your pain or swelling increases, if you have more difficulty walking, or if you see blood in your urine (hematuria)have someone drive you to the ER/ED.

In the meantime, apply cold packs to the area 15 min. on/15 min. off for 2 hrs. at a time and try to avoid putting pressure on your lower back.

i do on no account bear in mind in basic terms falling off a horse, I certainly have been bucked off extra time than i desire to bear in mind. The worst develop into in 1967 in El Paso Texas at a rodeo as quickly as I had a saddle bronc pass air born and on his front ft and roll over me. It cracked my sternum and ended my bronc driving days. I certainly have broken a great form of colts on condition that then, and have ridden some saddle broncs in small rodeos. yet now that i'm older I in easy terms wreck colts and prepare western horses.

I would suggest you go to the doctor or hospital and get some ex rays done on yourself. Something doesn't sound right here.

If you don't go to the ER, at least try to get to your doctor.

Don't mess with your body..you will regret it later.
