Bush basically only uses Christianity for political gain, to get the votes of the Bible belt.

I don't actually remember him ever saying that he WAS a Christian. He talks about family values and such, but nothing about God leading his life. If that were true I can't imagine that he would have lead us down that path that we're going; it doesn't seem to be the thing that God would have whispered in his ear. This war is and has been straight vengence and hatred motivated; "...getting even with the guy who went after his daddy".

It's simple - he's not. The religious persona he adopted was just merely a ploy set in place by his handlers so he could appeal to the right-wing religious nuts. Once he's out of office, he'll probably go to church once or twice a year - Easter and Christmas - if that often. He was reportedly told - by Daddy of all people - that if he really wanted to get elected, he should adopt the Christian persona so he did and look what happened! He effed us all, so the people who fell for his line of malarkey are getting just what they deserve.

Actually the quote is "God Loves Drunkards and Fools"
And I'd also like to point out, that if you're going to attack the President, attack his policies not his faith. and if by some chance this is just angry ignorant people who still think the war in Iraq is "illegal" I'd like you to take a look at House Joint resolution 214 and UN resolution 1771. You argue politics with facts, not an inadequate use of logical falsies

I'd bother to truly answer your "question" but I think the answer you're looking for is this:
"Yes, Bush and his goons are all a bunch of hypocrites."
I will tell you this: You're WRONG.
Want to know why? I'm not going to type it all out. Long answers are a waste of time unless the asker really wants an answer.
I think you're only looking for affirmation of your beliefs.

Since "Bloody George" was a king of England, most likely not. He was probable Episcopalian.

There are many hypocrites that practice their "religion" in this country. Strange Christianity if you look at it.
