No, there's nothing wrong with you.
Your priorities may be changing. Please don't
let that happen.
You are in school to learn. Pay attention to what
your teachers are attempting to teach you.
Take lots of notes and ask alot of questions if you
get lost or don't understand things. Do the homework!
Alot of us don't like it either, but it's a big part of the
education process. When you do the homework, try
to shut off all distractions. That includes listening to
music. You want to totally focus on the subject you're
working on and concentrate on that. You need to hear
your thoughts. Once you get into this pattern, you will
realize how quickly the homework session goes.
The best part of this is you will be the Star of your class.
You will know 90% of the answers, if not all, to any pop
quiz your teacher may throw at you. You'll be better pre-
pared for a full blown test just by brushing up on the
details. No need to cram and memorize.
Do yourself, your parents, your siblins, and your teachers,
PROUD!!!
There is more to you than you realize.
Challenge yourself and be good to yourself.
Know that you are not alone.
Best of wishes to you.

There's nothing wrong with you. You liked to do it before because it was your choice to do it. If there are other things that you'd rather be doing, it's no longer your choice. Being forced to do something even mildly against your will isn't the best motivation to do it.
Do you feel that you're learning something from the homework you've been assigned, or do you feel that the purpose of the homework is just to let the teacher know that what he/she is teaching is effective? If it's the latter, you know that you know the material and aren't especially fond of the teacher, you may be looking at the homework as just a waste of your time.
Unfortunately, we all have things that need to be done that we don't especially want to do. In this case, just look toward the final result of your labor--hopefully, a decent grade and graduation!

It is very likely the assignment's fault or the teacher's rather than yours. You may be recognizing it as busy work. Ask yourself if you can see any situation in the future where these skills might be of use to you in the real world. My kids got really turned off by multiplying fractions. I told them if they'd only learn the one lesson that they'd never have to multiply fractions again in their lives (all grown-ups do decimals). BUT: Be honest with yourself. If you don't see ANY purpose in it, you haven't looked deep enough. Ask a trusted adult to explain your feelings. They have the perspective to know. There are times in school when you just have to slog along knowing you're being taught useless information by idiots, and there's no getting out of it because they're giving you the grades. Good luck.
