now you dont want to get in a 'sticky' situation why dont you try something different windsurfing or waterskiing. Does she like water sports?

She should have laid you on the ironing board, put on the oven gloves, & beat you with the recipe books for giving her dumb birthday presents! (lol) When you say Other Half, I assume you mean wife, not girlfriend. A pearl necklace is a classic gift. You really can't go wrong there. You might also consider a trip, it doesn't half to be a long one, somewhere she's been wanting to go. Just a thought... Just my opinion. Tc.

Pearls are for tears. some women love them (i do) others associate them with their granny. Depends how old your wife is, however pretty jewellery has got to be a good idea all girls love sparklies. Just make sure its not tat and that its real gold, diamonds or what ever you decide to get her. Beautifully wrapped with flowers as well. Don't forget to tell her how much you love her. That worth more than any present (but the presents nice too!)

Jewelry is ALWAYS an EXCELLENT gift. Pearls are classic jewelry that go with everything. Be sure to buy the best you can afford from a reputable dealer. Give her matching earrings for the next event in your lives-anniversary, etc..

Good Luck

Troubled Joe,
Are you kidding are what? A real gift to a woman is the best way to show her you love her. Be it flowers, candy, diamonds or pearls. Remember the gift you give is reflective of the love you have for her. So yes, if you can afford them, I think it's a great idea.

Oh definately.
But you should start with an extra long coney dog.. Ask her if you can use her oven to heat it up. When you think it's about done (you'll know when it's about done) then take it out of her oven, and PRESTO!!

If you thinking a home made pearl necklace forget it!....go for diamonds or pay for a weekend in a spa for her so she can get pampered.

A pearl necklace? Cheap and cheerful. If you mean actual pearls.....'pearls are for sorrow'.
