That depends a lot on Jeremy Bonderman.
If he can focus as well as Verlander and Rodgers have the last 2 games, then yes, they have a good chance. I think these Tiger pitchers feed off each other. After that excellent performance by Kenny last night, Bonderman will be pumped.

Detroit fans deserve to win this thing at Home.

But it aint over til it's over, and I'll party like it's 1984 when it does happen.

They certainly have a chance. I think you would have been happy if Kenny Rogers had just given you a quality start (6 inn 3 er) last night but he pitched probably the game of his life given the circumstances. But I think you have to wrap it up this afternoon at Coamerica. Tigers have their foot on the Yanks' throats go for the kill.

the last two games they seriously shut down the potent yankees line up. i dont think the tigers have the arms to win a world series per se. but kenny the gambler rogers brought it. i dont see bonderman winning the series for them. but if he can give them 6 or 7 strong innings, the relievers can hold the yankee hitters down and maybe a couple of guys in the line up can get a few key rbis. so its possible. by the way, go pudge, kenny, and marcus thames. have to root for the former rangers.

Yes. Jaret Wright starts for the Yankees and I don't think he will let anyone down. At least he has some spirit and pride in the uniform he wears. Bonderman will keep the Tigers in it and their bullpen will finish the job.

They definitely have a chance. Their pitching has been solid, and their lineup has been taking advantage of scoring opportunities by coming up with clutch hits. Their playing baseball the way it should be come playoff time.

YES! GO DETRIOT! THERE'S ONLY ONE THING IN BASEBALL I LOVE MORE THAN SEEING THE YANKEES LOSE...the red sox winning...and that won't be happening for quite a bit...

PS: If the Tiger do win, Kenny Rogers is my favorite player til next season. :P

Yes, they can! Will they? That, my friend, is why they actually play the games.
