I know that those lyrics are in a song by The Ataris, but I do not know the name of the song. If you go to www.plyrics.com they have all of their lyrics on there and you might be able to find which song you're looking for, but The Ataris are a good band overall and you would probably like most of their songs.

The song is called "In This Diary" and its by the Ataris. It's on the cd So Long Astoria. ps. really good song :)
