If I felt like I needed to go through my husbands cell phone then I think it would be time to be honest w/him. If your suspecting a bad situation then talk it over.
I have never gone through any ones private things as I would hate my things being gone through.

First of all, ask yourself why you suspect something. Has he been acting strangely? Has anything changed in your lives recently? If you still feel you have a reason to suspect, you have two other options: 1) Confront him. Of course, if he is cheating, he won't come out and say it. That's why it's called cheating. 2) Go through his cell phone, but don't get caught! Don't change anything on it and put it right back where it belongs when you're done. If it turns out he's innocent, then don't tell him what you did and let the matter drop. If it turns out he's guilty, don't let him know where you got the information. He'll find a way to turn it aorund on you if you do.

Yep, if your married it's called: HIS/MINE and OURS!!
Any time we suspect something, is there a law that say's we're to just roll over like a dog and play dead? HELL NO!!

I'd find other ways to doing your investigateing too, not just the cell phone! Is he on the computer alot, try checking there too.

OR when there are times he tells you that he has to go here or there, take the time to follow at a good enough distance, or use a friends car to do the tailing.

yes, and if he refuses or says there is no need then he is hiding something or someone. You can also check your phone bill most cell phones get a print out of every call in and out going . You could check there first, YES go thru it to make your worry a reality or to prove you worried over nothing.
good luck

If it was me, my curiousity would kill me and I probably would. However, when your relationship gets to that point where you feel like you NEED to do that, that is not a good sign. Somehow either he is losing your trust or had jeapardized it somehow. Or, you are losing some of your own self-confidence. Either way, I think it sounds not so good. For the sake of the moment, check his phone. You will either something you don't like or you will see nothing and you will then wonder if he deleted something. Then you will check the cell phone bill.....this is not a good sign.

Whether or not you should or not I don't know, but I would. Actually looking at the bill will tell you more than the phone (if all calls are logged on the bill). Then you can see how many times an unfamiliar # is called or received. If you find a # on there that you want to investigate, call it.

Twinkle,
I would if I thought there was a problem, but be prepared to face what you might find. You may find something questionable, but not solid, are you going to confront him with it, and risk making a fool out of yourself or are you going to hide it for maybe future information. If he's doing what you think he's doing then you should do what ever you think is right for youself. Men are generally very stupid in covering up there tracks, I should know I am one.

Yes, but make sure he does not catch you because if you don't find anything then he won't be upset with you. right now with the internet you can check a phone bill by going into the companies website without him noticing. I don't is wrong to always double check.
