Well, if your mom is willing, go to a costume shop and see what you can rent. There is always cool stuff in those places. Have you tried just checking out different websites to get some ideas? When I was younger, I don't know about 13, but I went as weird stuff like Rainbow Bright, A candy bar, Cyndi Lauper one year. I don't really know what kids your age are into as i am 14 yrs older then you and I have a 2 yr old. I got ideas for my little girl by visitng sites like Lillian Vernon, and j""ust for kids, and "ebay" to just look around. good luck sweetie!

if you want unique, go as a box of french fries. it's really easy, just get a cardboard box, paint it like a fry box, and stick yourself and a couple of yellow pool noodles in it.
