would be nice if you put her in a nice out fit like dress her up with cute little twiggeys in her hair... or you could go for the natural look... i always dress my girls up when having proffessional pictures taken and then have the natural look on them at home pictures

First your kid will be fighten of everything and everybody usally hits a two year old. so visit the photographer for your kid to get used to strangers if there is a lot of people this will be hard for the child play a game with her the picture game pretend to have a camera and go through a mock session with her to get her used to smiling frowning happy look grumpy look just as many facial expression as possible if you prepare her your expensive session will go smoothly if not you might have problems dress her in something comfortable and let her wear it before session because new clothes are ichy. goodluck. hope you have a patient photographer.

ask her to pick the out fit lay out a few out fits and let her pick one she is two but I am sure she can talk an may have an opinion now my girl did at that age and then if you still want a different look take two or three outfits but let her wear her choice last so if she is good during the photos in the beginning that mom wants let her have her look too and she may surprise with what she picks out!!!Just cause she is two don't mean she don't know what she wants to wear!!!!

dress her up, I did the same with my 3 girls, they got dressed up pretty and had their pics taken, they are 10 12 & 13 now and love looking back at their picture, as they get older they don't like pretty dresses and bows in their hair so you'll have lots of nice pics in jeans and t-shirts as she is growing up.

Do a couple different outfits, one being a Halloween costume that you can mail out to close friends as a card and another one dressy one to hang on the family wall.

Nice and casual does it. When my three girls were the age of your daughter they were photographed casual and they thank me for it now.
