children's benadryl or children's clariten - both work great. I always keep both on hand.

Claritin is what my Doctor recommends for my son - he is 5. They should take 5mg once a day. You can either buy the liquid syrup for kids or if they're big enough to take a little pill, I just break my 10mg. in half and give him that. It's a tiny pill and easy to swallow. It's important to keep their allergies cleared up, since it leads to chest colds in children if untreated. Good luck!

Be sure and check with their doctor. Most over the counter children's meds are good.

for ost allergy meds there are also childrens. Like childrens benedryl, or children Arius. I use childrens arius on my son, he is 10

Please consult their pediatrician before giving them anything over the counter.
It may be cheaper to get a script for something such as Zyrtec or Claritin.
