No question.....Ripley!! She was the first, hardest, smartest, and sexy at the same time. If it wasnt for Ripley there wouldn't be a Trinity and Laura!!! She totally rocks!

Ripley out does Trinity and Laura Croft. She leads the fight; the others are either followers or they are standing there with a dumb *** smile, like announcing" I'm gonna fight now, so, take a good look at my **** in this tight outfit" As they do unbelievable acrobats that you know they could never do. Ripley relates better to the audience and acts like a real life character. Anyways, how can you compare comic book super heroes; to a a science officer character from a science fiction book?

I am going to have to agree with "peaceandlove"
Just check out the character "Ripley" in Aliens (the second one) and watch her protect the little girl, and show guts even when no one else had any, well maybe vasquez had guts.
She deserves it. And let's not forget, that angelina (lara) and carrie (trinity) got to use stunt doubles...not to mention CGI..Sigourney had to do it for real!!
