here is a home remedy that helps ease the discomfort of a sore throat .....

dissolve the following items in 1 cup of HOT water

1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of salt
the fresh squeezed juice of one lemon

Garle this mixture for 2-3 minutes (swallow it),
then drink the rest. Repeat every 3-4 hours
until sore throat is gone.

If you still have pain after 2-3 days,
I would suggest going to clinic, cuz
you might have a throat infection,
which can be very serious if not treated
properly (penicillin, or other antibiotics).

Hope this helps : )

Well, you can't afford not to go to a doctor if it truely is strep.. as there are multiple complications from strep including heart damage.
So I suggest going to a free health clinic.
As for right now, go buy some cholorseptic spray, it is cheap, drink tea with honey, and suck on ice chips.
Make sure to get something with electrolytes in it such as gatorade down so that you don't end up in the hospital.

Have someone go get zinc tablets and suck on those.

But go see a doctor. Your health is worth more than lousy money.
