Hey practical...,

I assume you mean Microsoft Word pages in a book page. You can make a book directly from MS Word, so, I would say 1 page MS Word, 1 page of a book. Thing is, you can make book pages as big or small as you want, so, this will vary depending on the size of page the Publisher wants.

If you mean how many words on a page, that can vary too. I have seen zero words on a page, to thousands of words. I would guess a good average would be 5 paragraphs with 40 to 50 words each.

Double-spaced 12-pt. serif font in MS Word, I'd say about three-quarters of a page would equal a page in a book. Roughly 250 words.

It depends on typeface, setting, font, spacing, justification, etc. but I'd say around 250-300 words.
