how many years has so called entertainer tony christie been singing that particularly annoying crap. surely after all these years someone would have had the decency to point the struggling, do anything for a quick buck pub singer in the right direction, and give us all a bit of peace and quiet after all these years.

Yeah, he can go sing it till he goes azul in the face, we'll still find it annoying. He claims that he did what he did for Maria, but I just don't buy that (not that I bought Is This The Way To Amarillo, either). The only small grain of comfort is that it's for charidee these days.

Show me one person that does not move a toe to the beat when that song plays, ok maybe a bit old fashioned but then i again i dislike Rap intensely, personally i think rappers cannot sing at all:)))

There's nothing wrong with the bloke, Amarillo is one of my fave songs and has been for a long time before Peter Kay brought him out into the world again!
