I have liked a guy since 5th grade and we are now in 8th grade, I asked him out and he told me to "get a life" and what does "get a life" suppose to mean?

You sure he said "get a life"? Because you are living and have a life. Maybe he knows that there's a dead person behind you and told that person to "get a life".
