I don't know if this fits that definition, but I find Leafs fans to be the most stupidly loyal fans in all of professional sports.
At the end of every season, every Leafs fan has the same phrase: "We'll get it next year!" They've been wrong almost 40 times now, but they say it with as much conviction as they would predicting sunrise every morning.

LEAF FANS ARE TRUE FANS !
They don't jump from team to team or flavor of the year.
Most teams attendance drop when they have bad years, like rats from a sinking ship. But not the true Leaf fans, they sell out every game, loyal to the end !
Remember a few years ago Hab fans ?
And Ottawa couldn't even sell out against the Leafs the other night.....there seemed more Toronto then Sens fans especially at the end 6-0 !!!

most of them had become Sens fans over the years but once the Leafs start winning again then you will see them all come out. Leafs fans are not loyal.

Uhh, news flash dumba55es, we arent scared of ****, but the fact is we think we have a pretty decent team, yes, we know talent when we see it, most fans of toronto DO know, Joe Thornton is better than Darcy Tucker, and Calgary has good if not better goaltending then us, we'll admitt that, but we think our heart and leadership in the lockerroom and our many fans across the globe will make up for it

Because we're loyal, dedicated and everything Montreal fans aren't. Why would you support the Montreal Crabs and Ottawa Sucks over the Leafs?????
