There are so many different anime out there, that sometimes people find it hard to choose. I know my faves, and I know they will never change. Of course there will always be some anime that I will add to my list of faves, and some anime that I wont add (why? because there are a lot of "good" anime out there, but there are only a handful of "classics" for my tastes).
Here's my current list (not really in any order):

I'm not the worlds biggest anime fan but I have the 1st "Ghost in the Shell" which I would say is my favorite. "Spirited Away, :"The Last Exile" series and "Princess Mononoke" would get honorable mention
