It's the same reason you shouldn't jump off a bridge it your friends jump off a bridge or crossing your eyes, because they might get frozen there. Everything is dangerous and forbidden when you are 6. When I turned 18, the first thing I did was run with scissors and cross my eyes! Still haven't found any friends who jump off bridges.

If you run with scissors you may stab yourself and make a big mess on the carpet with your own or someone else's blood. Are you prepared to have that on your concience for the rest of your life.

You can't run with scissors because if you tripped, a nasty acciendent would happen. I am sure you won't want that to happen.
