"Terror" is a strategy, not an enemy.

ergo, the war will last forever.

Really, it's an impressive bit of political gamesmanship - the Republicans have finally managed to find a war that can never be won, and so therefore we can have a nation that is forever "at war."

My sons who are 9 and 12 now will most likely be drafted when they come of age to fight. I hope for they're sake we figure how to do the job right and when someone is not meeting the expectations we expect of them, they are fired and replaced with someone who can. I'm a Dem and have no problems with going to war when necessary, I only ask that it be for the right reason and done correctly.

Until the end of human kind on earth. Wherever there is a difference of opinions on how things should be run, there is going to be someone willing to through a bomb in order to get his own way. You cannot legislate ideology out of existence. An ideology is a thought and you cannot fight a thought with guns and bullets. Thoughts live on long after the fighting stops and are subject to being reignited at any time.

It is not a conventional war against a country but a war against an idea so it won't be over anytime soon probably,a generation or so.

I noticed that Nancy P. did not mention Iraq in her speech about what she would do if she gets to be speaker.
