O k I'm not trying to be gross but ok I'm in 9th grade and my mom is frieking out cuz i havent started my period
this week i have been super mean to people and i went to a dance I want pee and it was automatic so it flushed before i could see it and i was wearin a thong so i wanted to wipe really good and i looked at the toilet paper like the third time i wiped it was pinkish red with like darkish mucis
but then this mornin i went and checked and there was no blood HOW DO PEROIDS WORK? HAVE I STARTED?

That sounds like the beginnig. I get that a day or two before the flow. If you don't start in two days I would ask to see a doctor because you should have started by now

well u would have cramps or somthing. But it sounds like u just spoted & people can skip every once and awhile.
The way a peroid works is that u would have one every month. For about 5 - 7 days u will find that out when u start.

The first time I started my period thet was very little of anything for the first two or three days then it was very light . The next time witch was about two mounths later it was more noticeable .
I think that everyone is differant , just give it time , talk to your mom, that might help , remember she has been there to.

you might have scratched your self while you danced, or when you wanted to wipe your self...but it could also be a sign!
I started my period in 5th grade and I hate it! I think my childhood has been taken away from me and that is why I always tell young girls to enjoy the time without it.

you are probally getting ready to start. it starts out real slow at the first time. do you feel bloated? you will just have to wait to see if you start. maybe you should go to the og/gyn since you shouldve started 2 or 3 yrs ago.

Sounds to me you started but don't worry that it didn't last long mine did the same thing , and when it is ready to start again it will.

you should have started by the time you are 16. have your mom take you in for an exam..
