It's not the Daddy longlegs as we know it, it's an Urban myth that they are venomous, it is an unrelated species of Spider ( pholcus phalangioides) which, could have the strongest venom and is known as the Long legged Cellar Spider, but cannot harm humans due to it's physiology. There is no evidence to support the claims of it's venom effect upon Humans without doing somewhat unethical experiments on people by injecting them with milked venom.
There is a difference between Venomous and Poisonous. Venomous creatures "envenomate" via a means of fangs or injection, Poisonous give off toxins which are absorbed by attackers (i.e Poisonous Frogs).
The Funnel Web is a nasty piece of work, as is the Brown Recluse Spider, and the Banana Spider which causes a necrotising wound, so the after effects are pretty horrific for a bad bite. (careful picking up the bananas in Tescos!).
The Funnel Web spider or Brown Banana Spiders from S America, very aggresive and might take top spot.
However, the most deadly insect in the world is the Mosquito, responsible for more deaths than you could imagine.

Since the daddy long legs spider hasnt got the ability to bite or inject poisonous venom to humans I would say the black widow spider.That is if you consider arachnids as insects.

The prize goes to the spider and scorpion family. the worst one could be the brown recluse spider as their venom eats away at the muscle and nerves.

Daddy Long Legs, apparently they contain a stronger venom than a black widow spider, but don't have a mouth big enough to do anything with it lol.
