I am an Indian resident planning for a trip 2 las vegas in dec. I plan to rent a car and drive myself. Can i know how to apply for a driving license in vegas?? please tell a detailed answer.

Do you have a drivers license at all? I don't see why you whould need a LV drivers license. You really don't need a car while visiting unless you plan on staying for a great length of time. You can ride the bus back and forth on the strip for just $5 a day or take a taxi. However, if you plan on gambling, you will need some type of identification to prove your age, especially if you win.

You can't get a Nevada license, or a license in any state for that matter, unless you are a resident of that state. As long as you have a valid drivers license in India, and a passport - you can rent a car in the states. You will also need to make sure that you have adequate insurance coverage. My suggestion is to contact a rental car agency in the states, and ask them what you need. There is a place called Cafe Marrakech, on Paradise Road, near the strip. If you are planning on only visiting the city and already have a current drivers license you need not worry. I am not sure about the food but I would same most likeky

Everything is available in Vegas, i don't understand why you need a Nevada drivers license unless your moving there you only need your drivers license from where you live.

Driving will be ok but before you leave home, check with the major car rental place, such as Hertz, if they will accapt to form your rental

From the UK I dont need a US driving Licence. My own UK Licence will suffice. From India I dont know, but you will get American type Indian cuisine anywhere.
