Click on the person you want to block, Go to Contacts then stealth settings and click on Appear permanently offline

Go to your Yahoo Messenger while signed in. Assuming you have the newest Yahoo version, you go to "Messenger", then to "Preferences", then "Ignore List", and remove who you want to.

go to messenger-preferences-ignore list-click on the person you want to un-ignore and then click on remove.
