Why is my ipod losing its charge even when the battery is completely charged.?

My ipod is fully charged and then I hear a static sounding noise and it's completely lost its battery power.

your ipod might be broken. or because of the weather. at christmas once it was so cold that my ipod froze, then I warmed it up 2 minutes later then the power was gone. just like that.

You may need to replace your ipod's battery because it got weaker and you need a new one. You can purchase it online in the apple store or you can go to the apple store. Thats what happened to my cousins ipod.
