Not in your case, which proves that there is an exception to every rule. You are asking us. Most of us ask the ones we love first.

It is the way of life, we all mature find someone to settle down, get married and have kids. Even b4 any of this happens we all spend alot of time with our b/f's or g/f's. Over time you start to rely on this person more than your friends, after spending so much personal time with this person you get to know eachother very well and understand eachother more so. After a while you lose touch with your friends stop hanging out so much and you partner becomes yourt best friend, they'll be all you really need.
Not to scare you with the facts, but it happens.... You will want the support of your partner even more so

I think so, because the one you like or love is the person that you learn to trust and depend on. Plus your closer in feelings. Good Luck
