Walk on eggs, of course not. Wounding others, I don't see how that can be done. Sensiblities of others, doesn't everyone. Little Babies is going a little to far.
When you come to Yahoo Questions and Answers, there are millions that come to this site every single day. Now, in those million people you will never satisfy all of them. It just may be 2 people that understand and realize your concerns. Or answer you in the manner you want to be answered.
All of us are made up differently and we all have our own ideas and outlook on life. If we were all the same, what kind of a world would this be. Every one has a different sense of humor, mind, ending results and they may even question you back. You might make some happy and on the other hand, make some people mad. Every one has a different mood. You can't expect to deal with this many people and every one of them or us, be on your side.
Do you understand what I am saying? If each and every one of us had the same idea about things, there would be no need for Yahoo Questions and Answers. Some people you can say anything to and they will give it right back at you but then on the other hand they are those that are very sensitive.
So therefore you have to realize you are not just dealing with your neighborhood but the entire world. I do hope this has helped in some way without offending you or anyone else for that matter.
I do hope you have a better day.

No, it si not a written law you now.
But if you are intelligent enough, you will understand from experience that it is better to be more carefull about what you say, even because sometimes we say things, that later we find to be unjust or stupid.
You know a saying:
God gave us two ears and one mouth, so to speak less and listen more.

Here is my belief.
I believe if I hurt your feelings or offend you its your fault not mine. Obviously if I say it and you know its true why is it wrong to say the truth? You allow me to offend you. Also I don't go around attempting to offend people and I am not overly judgmental so therefore this feeling could be based off that. I am abbrasive though. I jsut dont go around calling fat people fatass or a mentally challanged person retard.....so /shrug

If you are talking about political correctness, you want to be tactful in certain situations.
However, walking on eggshells is a little extreme.
Nobody has a right not to be offended.

No one should have to walk on egg shells.... don't confuse this with common courtesy. It takes alittle intelligence to think about your words before you spew them. If you are one who normally offends others, you need to practice your interpersonal skills.

The Golden Rule - treat others as you would have them treat you. If you remember that people's reactions to you should not shock you. I would also remind you to say what you mean, but don't say it mean.
