It's a compelling argument; that Jesus' miracles were not meant to be understood literally, but figuratively. So. for instance, the feeding of the five thousand was a 'spiritual' feeding of those previously outcast by mainstream society.

This certainly fits with the way Jesus was represented in the gospels, although his initial reaction to the woman of Canaan suggests he meant only Jewish outcasts to be readmitted.

Jesus made a point of communing with the marginalised. Obviously the healings were miracles but they were also acts of rebellion, eg, healing on the Sabbath. That was the whole point. Jesus shook up the system. He reminded us that God is about inclusion and not exclusion.

Complete bull, no offence but dont believe a word.

Its a mixture of brainwashing, extremism, and in my opinion hypnosis.

If you believe in this, you might aswell believe in superman.

Thank "god" (pardon the pun) for science and education.

I choose not to believe the myths and legends (fairy tales) from a book put together over 2000 years ago.

That is like saying, that you would be quite happy to be medically treated by something that was used 2000 years ago... would you, if you had the choice? Im hoping you wouldnt as if it was anything serious, you wouldnt be here to tell the tale.

Only 200 years ago, they believed that you could "extract evil spirits" from a person, by drilling holes through their skull!! And this is just ONE example. There are many many many thousands of examples.

Nevermind, what bull**** they believed 2000 years ago!!

I respect religious views (morals etc which actually are useful for everyday life) but not lies and deception.

E.g: Eve was created solely from adams ribs...now we all know this isnt true...

Any person who believes this is a fool.

Im so glad i was born in 1985!!

Jesus was responsible for social rebellion. Early eastern society regarded disease and disability as divine punishment. Jesus wiped out this myth by his healing which showed that God loves everyone equally. He also illustrated the concept of forgiveness and social inclusion by befriending tax-collectors, prostitutes, terrorists (James the Zealot) and the poor.

A lesson for us all???

Jesus would not have approved of the incredible evil that marxism has been responsible for.

Trying to reframe christianity in terms of marxism is dishonest, disgusting and wicked.

What would the hundreds of millions of people cruelly put to death by people who worship marxism have to say about what you are doing?

Fairytales and falsehoods. There is no god, JC was real but he was just a travelling mystic, everything in the NT was made up 400 years after JC existed.
