Why de so called "best democracy in the world" didn`t resolve it`s racist issues (i.e. Flaming Mississipi)? How come that the "other" is so strange to us? When did we beome democracy exporters? Let`s don`t forget we financed coups all around the world (i.e. Latin America in the 70`s)

Not at all....how could we be racist and intolerant? As you know we are the white supreme....and being near perfect (99.99%...have to allow a little for the very few of us with faults) we have every right to tell every other nation what to do and if they don't we will simply invade, kill them and them give aid to any that might have survived. Being superior, we have forced religion down the throats of many with the idea that with so much perversion in the ranks of the clergy...better there than here. I, of course jest, but that is the way many nations see the US and with just cause. We are losing friends in other countries and we should begin to examine the problem and fix it. In China, people believe that Bush wants to be the World Cop....well, sad to say, what goes up, must come down.

What's this WE crap!? You can not possibly be an American, because you don't know **** and wouldn't be asking such stupid questions.
I'll go ahead and dignify your question in a perfunctory fashion so just in case it sinks in you will have some knowledge.
While America is not perfect, it has evolved and continues to evolve as the BEST Democracy in the world. It is our varying ethnic and cultural diversity that is our strength as a nation and a people.
Intolerance only for those groups who are intolerant of us.......Say for example Muslim Extremists.
I personally am less tolerant of radical Muslim extremists than most Americans or the "average US.Citizen" as you say....But please don't hate me for that.....

People in general are racist and intolerant. In Africa, you have one tribe that thinks its better than another; you also have the Bosnians and Serbs, fighting over their ethnic background. Everywhere you go, you will find people who believe they are superior over other people for one reason or another, and for some incredibly ignorant reasons. It seems to be best to be living in a country where you are one of the majority, and not the last ethnic group to enter into that society. Just my observation. Also, every country dishes the dirt. You cant play a fair game of poker, when all the other players are cheating. Its called politics.

The average US citizen is ignorant of the outside world (and probably anything further away than the local gas station) and educated into selfishness by their capitalist culture; actually, this is true of all of the western world in varying degrees.
People like to live in their own little bubbles and resent anything that might come along and let some fresh air in.

people no matter what are going to find it hard to get along with every race.... Long grudges that have been held for century's always have a part to play... I hate to say it but this problem is especially troubling in the Us. But to truly heal our world we have to learn to forget the sins of our forefathers and move on to the future. But still, at the same time keeping in mind the lessons that our past mistakes have taught us and to learn from them.

The 'average' U.S. citizen is not intolerant or ignorant. However, all liberals are racists who believe minorities can't survive without huge amounts of help from the government. Liberals are also dumber than a box of hair. They support the systematic killing of millions of innocent babies, but get pissed when we execute convicted rapists and murderers. they also scream about their 'rights' but want to ban everyone from smoking, owning guns or choosing schools.

Your question made me think of the story of the Jews wandering in the wilderness for 40 years. The generation (s) with this mentality have to die off, in order to cleanse the populace of this social disease. Few more decades of race mixing should fix it.

People in general are racist and intolerant. It's the Us vs. Them mentallity that we are all born with. My theory is that racism and intollerance won't end until aliens attack us. Then we will have a newly united Us to face the new Them.
