1. Show approval by smiling, touching a shoulder lightly in a non-sexual manner, and verbal complimenting directly to the person or to another about the person within their hearing.

2. Create trust by being trustworthy. Keep a secret, help without making an issue out of it.

3. Be encouraging of adaptive behavior by showing approval of the behavior. After trust is gained, make small suggestions of putting adaptive behavior into practice.

4. Reduce negative feeling and behaviors by realizing and remembering that negative feelings and behaviors have their basis in fear. Find out what the fear is and alleviate it.

1) Showing approval to the actions done by people around you. With a little nod or a sweet smile, you have shown approval to their deeds and you are greatly satisfied by what they have done.

2) Trust people around you, such as your family, your friends, teachers, et cetera. With trust, you would be able to let them do their jobs more responsibly. Remember, trust is the most important thing in any relationship.

3) I am not clear about this.

4) Be an optimistic person. Are you half-full or half-empty? You should always see things in a great and optimistic way. In that way, you can achieve whatever you want.

I regret for my lack of knowledge on the term in Number 3. But hope that this answer, though short, would help.
