I dont ride side saddle but a couple of friends do and there is also a side saddle association if you are looking for help with anything.

Especially as you are dressaging.

I do - here in Ireland the main ways of riding are either english or sidesaddle - this is mainly used for showing classes only though.
All competitions here are ridden english style - I think most international standard competitions are actually ridden this way though.

The English. My (English) Grandad who has lived in Canada most his life rides the English way. There are large North Amerian horse riding competitions - Th English Way - I've been to a couple and they are booooring!

To be blindingly obvious, the english. Most of Europe, I think. Its the way its done for most top equestrian sports, I believe, and the US if not Canada hae got several top competitors in disciplines such as three day eventing (possibly horse trials in the US?) and showjumping.

Also all (or a lot of) you riding people seem to be dyslexic, your spelling jumps all over the place, trots, gallops, sidesteps...or else you're just so eager to be back on your mounts you can't waste time spelling.

i do... but i work at a facility for abused horses and we use the english style because the saddles are lighter

Anyone in professional or serious equestrian sport.
Even the Americans.
Only cowboys who break-in their horses flop around on a horse.

Incidentally, we don't consider it English. Everyone does it
