English is a race and language and not a nationality. I am not sure if a Welsh person [myself] can put Welsh on a UK passport or not - I'm getting a new one next year. If it has not got a Red Dragon on the front, what's the point?

I'm Scottish and my passport says 'British'. There was never an 'are you Scottish or British' question on applying for a passport. I think you have been misinformed. Is it not United we Stand, Divided we Fall, cant we be happy being British?

Are you sure the Scots can put Scottish as a nationality ? Our nationality is British and I think only `British` is allowed on passports.

I am scottish, but my passport says British.
I have seen hundreds of passports in my time (I work in hotels with travellers worldwide, copies of pports are required on HR file, and various other reasons), I have never seen a UK passport saying anything except British.
I don't mind being British, I think only Racist, arrogant people would want one specific to their region (E, I, S & W).

The cabinet is dominated by Scots with more than a sprinkling of Catholicism. The former naturally favour their compatriots and the latter have been the enemies of England since the Reformation.
