Very interesting question. I am 60 years old, and I have seen it many times. Say perhaps a shopping mall, I would see a young man who looked as homely as a well used dart board. Yet clinging to him was a young woman. On a scale of one to ten she was an 8 or 9. I would ask myself, why, what does she see in this guy? After years of maturing, I realized she saw through his course exterior, and found a man who loved her. A man who was a gentleman (a lot of women still like the gentlemanly type of man). A man who thought not of himself first but his girlfriend first and for most.
Years ago I cloned a word, “meitisus (me-I and then us). In other words I come first and you come second...maybe. Women are not attracted to a constant meitisus man. I noticed these unusual couples were always talking to each other, and laughing. In other words enjoying life in the company of his/her companion. So I guess what all this is leading up to is, the old cliché, “You can’t judge a book by its cover”.

If you are talking about yourself, why do you think you are ugly? Anyway, always take care of your appearance. Boost that personality like being witty. Don't be a dummy; know some stuff so you can always be ready for decent conversation. Be a nice guy, but don't be a pushover either.

What anyone looks like has little to do with their personality or "niceness". If you are a nice person and fun to be around then you are likely to find someone someday who will like you for who you are. Don't get stuck in the trap of thinking that "nice" means "pretty" either. There are plenty of average looking people who are smarter and funnier than those stuck-up "beauties" people like to drool over on TV.

Be funny, have a decent job/ be stable, treat women nicely and with respect.
Fortunately for you, all the so-called "playaz" have really lowered the bar when it comes to quality men.

by being confident and being FUNNY! Good sense of humor is always a huge plus. and i also think that there are no ugly people in this world..it's just a matter of one's own taste

Beauty come from the inside. Be honest, treat her with respect, keep yourself clean, and your handsomeness, will come through. Looks are not important, how you act and treat other people is what is important. If someone is only interested in someone because of how they look, they are not worth having!!

i am not sure you will ever be noticed if you keep quite all the time but try and do something around her that makes you look cooler or do something "heroic" around her
then she can see...that there is more to you
plus if this doesnt work i know you shouldnt change your personallity over it but try and change your wardrobe and girls HATE acne...so put acne treatment on if you have acne
