I have a 1979 cobra mustang pace car replica. It has a fresh 5.0 with 11:1 compression, mild cam, headers, 600 holley, and runs on E85. It has a 1972 torino top loader 4 speed, and 9 inch rear end.
I let the ponies loose every chance I get.

For 10 yrs. I owned a 69 Chevelle Super Sport with a 396 & 400 turbo in behind it. I loved to take it out and go over a hundred, but never was brave enough to push the speedometer on it....even on the country roads. It was even more fun taking others out for a wild ride in it. Most teens now-days have never experienced the power of a big block engine.
Wow, I miss my car!

They say my Pontiac Sunfire 2003 model is a sports car.

That cracks me up everytime i think about that.

IT'S A SUNFIRE!

:)

But my dad has a Porsche Cayenne that i raced once when these guys in a Toyoto were being cocky b i t c h e s. Let's just say, they were choking on my dust.

Don't be scared. Floor your car man. Just go with the flow. Have some fun. Put the windows down and just blast your music. It's totally worth it.

I don't own a sports car, but I do have an Impala that can hustle. When I am on the interstate, I don't use the cruise because I have one....I use it because I need one. I have never been caught, but I was doing over 90mph once, and never knew it. What clued me in was how slow everyone I thought going that I was passing.

Yes. I have two exceptionally fast motorcycles. I don't floor them, but I do twist the old wick a bit too much sometimes, at least according to the speed limit signs...
