A new movie release she loved seeing this year.
New fiction for her age group.
Take her for a manicure/pedicure.
Pick out some nail polishes, lip balms, eye shadow (if allowed), face masks, body wash & lotion & put all in basket.
Give her coupon booklet from you for: a night out at movie with popcorn & drink, a visit to arcade, a visit to amusement park, a visit to a theater production, a visit to museum/aquarium OR use any of these ideas for a one time gift
Does she like music? Get her an acceptable (language appropriate) cd.
See? There's lots more than you thought! Most of all have fun doing it, your little sister will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Have a special day (just the two of you). Do something like going to the movies and go out to eat. If you can afford it, a day at the spa might be fun for her..I know my dtr and I always feel better after we have manicures and pedicures together. If there is a Mary K consultant in your area...see if she will come do a facial and help teach your sister to properly apply makeup. Mary K consults usually are free and it is a good afternoon of pampering....they also offer classes with nail care and skin care...and you are not required to buy anything during the consult with Mary K

Well if she is into books, then thats the way to go (Books-a-Million has a lot of books to choose from)! If she wanted an outfit that she couldnt get then give her a gift card to that store so she can buy it! If she is into watching TV and listening to music then get movies or CDs (make sure the movie is not overrated)! If she is not into much of this stuff and you still dont know what to get her, then any decor for her room like a jewelry box or picture frames (they also go a long way cause of the memories that are carried into them)!!! Good Luck!

Get your sister a Bible. You can give her no greater or more important gift. What should you look for? First, I suggest you get a generally accepted modern translation that is easy to understand. Then consider what is called a "study Bible"—that is, a Bible that also includes helpful notes and articles explaining each book or passage. Some are designed specifically for young people.
I can give you a link to sites where you can buy one, or i will mail you a Bible. Let me know if I can be of any help.

i could pass to Claries boutique and purchase her some jewelry, if she's a girlie female. Claires is in all risk the main suitable place to get some thing decrease priced. If she's into hi kitty or some thing, you need to purchase her an alarm clock. Or, even in line with risk a CD of her fashionable band or a band blouse if she's into that stuff.

I would buy her two free passes to the movies and a gift certificate to her favorite place to eat. And enclose a note in the card saying that just the two of you will go out to a movie and a meal, and spend the day together. Being able to hang out with big sister is a big deal, not to mention the quality time spent together. It tells her that even though you may not be able to include her in other parts of your life, that you still love her and can have fun with her. That is a major gift in itself.

Some of my ideas:
-if she constantly borrows something of yours, you can get her a similar one
-i dont know what she likes. if she's into music, buy her a CD or a cute iPod case.
-if you're close, get something you two could do together like a gift card for a manicure for the both of you. or she could take a friend.
-2 of her favorite movies or a season of her favorite TV show on DVD.
-gift cards should be a last resort
