Indians in Long Island are suing for part of that land back!
Giving them the rights to casinos, i think, has been about giving them compensation. My husband's tribe was walked to death, like so many. The survivors took a pay-off back in 1984 for the land they were screwed out of. I think there are a lot of such arrangements.
The best thing we could do is start teaching, from elementary school, that america's manifest destiny is spelled g-e-n-o-c-i-d-e. It would be very humbling and get our people thinking properly.

I'm sitting on Indian land right now. It'd be a little complicated to give it back. Of course maybe I'd like being a non-native resident alien of the Omaha nation or a white citizen of the Ponca nation whatever could be done with people like me.
With this current war I'm not real happy to be an American today. Did the Plains nations practice "preemptive war"? Maybe I'd rather live with the Hopi. They didn't do much war did they?

Do you really think that they would take it back, white man has all but ruined what was a beuitiful country, I think it is unrepairable even by the native Americans. At 10 billion a month it would not take long to repay them for the land we stole.
