once a year, they send them straight to strangers houses. They tell their children that ghosts, goblins and monsters etc. is not real but one month out of the year they drag out all the scary stuff and try to scare their kids. I am an American mother who refuses to allow her children to participate in this ridiculous holiday. Halloween did not even originate in America, why waste our time on such a stupid holiday?

does it annoy or anger you that this is a pagen celebration, i only ask because of your name,anyway do you tell your children of father christmas,we tell kids lots of things that dont make sense but that is life ,and i think you will find most kids have there parents with them on halloween well at least my two do

Halloween is not that bad. Every kid loves to create a costume and play dress up for a night and get as much candy as possible. It's all fun that your kids are missing out on. If you can't bring yourself to let your kids go trick or treating, lots of churches, businesses and other orginizations have halloween parties. Your kids can still have the fun of playing dress up and go in costume and they can spend the night with people you trust playing games and getting all the candy they want. I hope that helps.

Halloween isnt really a holiday number 1 , number 2 you needa lighten up, lotsa things that are ok to do when parents are around that u dont want them doing when your not...its just for fun....
