HSBC Banks do not have numbers, you must phone the main line on 08457 404 404. You could also use the number 020 79918888 for the main London Switchboard and ask to be transferred

I think you may mean the Sort-Code..In which case it is 40-16-08,

If making a transfer from overseas into a UK HSBC account, the format would be:

GBxxMIDL401608account number (ie GB00MIDL40160812477284) the "xx" number is unique to each type of account and you will need this information if receiving funds from overseas.

You can always ring HSBC on 08457 404 404 for more information.

I am assuming here that all hsbc branches there use the same routing (swift code) number within the counrty they are in. So if that is correct then it should be the same one as in London UK and that number is { MIDLGB22}
Hope that helped.

It tells the online merchant what bank and location you have. You can find it on the bottom of one of your checks. You will see your checking account number and the other ser of numbers is your bank routing number. If you only have a checking card, call the bank you opened your checking account with and ask them the routing number for the bank. It is all the same because it is to identify the specific bank.
