That's what makes them so uniquely mcdonalds. people come in droves for the other crap they serve. gray hamburgers, greasy fries, fake shakes. obviously, they believe, they are on a roll. why start making good eggs when it's crap that sells?

Possibly they don't use real milk (or even real eggs). Also the finished product probably lies around for so long that any moisture in the stuff rapidly disappears, resulting in your corrugated cardboard texture. [As an aside, once tasted, why does any body ever go back to eat McDonald's products?]

ok the round eggs which you get only on the McMuffin sandwiches unless requested elsewhere are made from eggs we actually break open right there on the grill and cook..they are poached. The folded eggs(you'll find these on the biscuit, bagel, and McGriddle sandwiches) come already cooked frozen and we warm them/recook then on the grill. The scrambled eggs(big breakfast & delux breakfast as well as a side of eggs) are a liquid egg that we cook on the grill....excatly what is in this liquid egg I am not sure only that I have been told it is real eggs...and for those who are used to scrambled eggs that get milk or other flavoring added yeah these are going to taste plain as all get out.

No..they are not nuked...you probably had some that were held in a cabinet before serving. You should always return them if they dont taste right.
McDonald uses real eggs. And only eggs...no milk or water added. If you would like to see where McDonalds products come from and what is done to them before you eat them...go to
www.mcdonalds.com....click on "food nutrition" then click on "farm to table"....They actually have a very informative website.

I wouldn't buy eggs from any fast food restaurant. Their system isn't made to make them just right - it's for people on the run who are starving. Most of the eggs they make fit into a sandwich so they make them flattened so that they can fit. You can't expect your mothers scrambled eggs from a fast food joint. I haven't found them to be totally detestable - unless you're eating them by themselves without seasoning them. People who have plenty of time to cook for themselves everyday would never stoop so low. But McDonald's wouldn't sell them if people didn't eat them - so obviously - it's probably because of convenience when people are busy working trying to make life on the run a little easier.

because they are re-heated in the microwave over and over..and as we all know, anything cooked or heated in the microwave will have the consistancy of "corrugated cardboard"

They are liquid eggs that come in what look like a milk carton and then they cook them on the grill and leave them in the warmers until they are needed. Pretty gross!!

Because Mcdonald's restaurants have been doing so poorly in the fast food industry that they are in the process of changing their commercial jingle to,"I'm hating it and you should too."
